Toyota Reveals Pricing and Specs for the 2027 C-HR Electric Crossover
According to Electrek, Toyota has priced the 2027 C-HR EV at $37,080 for the SE trim and $39,080 for the XSE.

Both trims share a 74.7 kWh battery, ship with a native NACS port, and arrive at U.S. dealers in September.
Pack, port, charge curve
The 74.7 kWh pack drives a dual-motor AWD system at 338 hp combined, with a 0–60 mph time of 4.9 seconds. EPA range: 287 miles on the SE with 18-inch wheels, 273 miles on the XSE with 20-inch wheels. DC fast charging takes the pack from 10 to 80 percent in roughly 30 minutes. Toyota fits battery preconditioning and Plug & Charge as standard. The native NACS connector gives direct access to Tesla Superchargers without an adapter — relevant as EVgo begins deploying Tesla V4 hardware (up to 500 kW at 1,000 V) across its U.S. network this fall, with Magic Dock-equipped sites live by the second half of 2026 to serve both NACS and CCS vehicles.
Lineup positioning
The C-HR rides the same e-TNGA platform as the bZ but is roughly 6 inches shorter (177.9" L × 72.6" W × 63.8" H). At $37,080, the SE sits $80 above the 2026 model and $2,100 above the 2027 bZ. Standard kit: AWD, Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, 14-inch central infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual Qi chargers, heated front seats and steering wheel, power liftgate. XSE adds 20-inch gunmetal wheels, SofTex/synthetic suede trim, Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Change Assist, Panoramic View Monitor. Rear cargo reaches 59.5 cubic feet with seats folded — 2.6 cubic feet above the bZ.
What to verify
The 30-minute 10-to-80 spec and 287-mile range are estimates; both need instrumented validation. The XSE's 20-inch wheels impose a 5 percent range hit versus the SE. Preconditioning must auto-engage when a Supercharger is set as the navigation destination — without that, cold-weather sessions will overrun the spec. And NACS access is only as reliable as site density; the broader Pilot, GM, and EVgo footprint crossing 300 fast-charging locations, per EV Infrastructure News, is the variable that determines whether the connector standard translates into usable road-trip range for C-HR buyers.
